Race Matters

Georgia Republican gubernatorial candidate David Perdue said Stacey Abrams is "demeaning her own race" and should "go back where she came from."

From statewide races like the lieutenant governor to several judicial seats, Georgia voters once again have an opportunity to choose their champion.

A Republican civil war is brewing in the Georgia race for governor. News spread Sunday that former Sen. David Perdue could be jumping in the race for Georgia governor. Perdue is expected to announce on Monday.

If posing with avowed white supremacists wasn't embarrassing enough, Kelly Loeffler is going full throttle to establish relevancy by launching a voter rights organization in the state of Georgia.

Jon Ossoff's and Rev. Raphael Warnock's win guarantee Democrats party control of the Senate where Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will have authority to cast the tie-breaking vote.

On the ballot, voters have the opportunity to change the tide through legislation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, job opportunities, healthcare and social justice.

The news comes after voting rights activists again accused election officials of voter suppression, voicing concerns that lack of accessibility limits access for Black and Latino voters.
