Fans and supporters are planning a Monday prayer vigil to lend support to rapper DMX, who was placed on life support after suffering from a heart attack on Friday.

DMX has reportedly been hospitalized following a drug overdose and heart attack at his home in suburban New York City. TMZ reported the rapper was in "grave condition."

DMX was taken into custody for violating conditions of his bail by leaving a drug rehab prematurely and failing a drug test.

DMX could serve up to five years in prison after pleading guilty in federal court to tax evasion.

DMX was arrested on Thursday for allegedly avoiding paying $1.7 million in taxes.
