As the Miami Heat star Chris Bosh (pictured) focuses on playing in the NBA finals, his baby’s mama could quite possibly be worrying about how will she provide her next meal for herself and their child.  Reportedly, Bosh’s former live-in gal pal Allison Mathis (pictured) was laid off from her job as a construction company secretary and has recently applied for food stamps, reports the Miami Herald.

In addition to applying for government aid, Mathis’ home is near foreclosure because the monies that she receives from Bosh are supposedly not enough to make the monthly mortgage.

Bosh, whose ball player’s salary is in the $18-million range, only doles out a paltry $2,600 a month to Mathis who should, by legal standards, be reportedly receiving at least $30,000 a month toward the support of Bosh’s child.

The couple has been feuding over their 3-year-old daughter over the last two years across three different states for issues with child support, custodial rights, and whether Mathis can appear on VH1’s “Basketball Wives” — Bosh forbids it.

Their most-recent involves Bosh wanting to take his daughter to London for three weeks in order to watch him play in the Summer Olympics.  The request has been denied by an Orlando judge.

According to Mathis’ lawyer, Jane E. Carey, Bosh’s reasons for wanting his daughter with him in London are purely self-serving.  The legal counsel tells Gossip Extra, “He wants to take his daughter across the world for a photo-op.  He doesn’t care.  He hasn’t been decent to my client and his daughter.”

The 28-year-old power forward got married to Adrienne Bosh last year, and they now have a newborn.

Now the battle wages on for the dueling exes as Carey plans on circling back to a Florida judge to re-evaluate the child support payments that Mathias receives from Bosh.  The miffed attorney is clearly boggled by Bosh’s attitude.  “My client just lost her job and applied for food stamps for her and Mr. Bosh’s daughter.  She’s about to get foreclosed on, and all he wants to do is go to London with his daughter.  Are you kidding?”

Sound off!
