A homeless man was arrested Monday for allegedly stealing copper from a collapsed building in North Philadelphia. According to officials, the man was looting under the wreckage of the building damaged by Hurricane Sandy at the 2400 block of Cumberland Street.

Firefighters checking the building heard sounds beneath the remains and found the man upon further investigation.

NBC 10 cameras were on the scene and captured the incident. Police apprehended the man after he was rescued from under the building. He is currently being charged with disorderly conduct. No injuries were reported in the collapse.
