Today on “NewsOne Now,Roland Martin spoke with Shreveport Times reporter, Matt Vines and The Gramblinite’s David Lankster about the financial fall out at Grambling State University. Due to financial cuts, the athletics department is in turmoil, and the Grambling football team continues to boycott practice due to inadequate funding.

Lankster says it’s unclear whether or not Grambling will play Jackson State this Saturday:

“They haven’t practiced in two days. It’s a disconnect between players and the administration. Players have confirmed that they have threatened to cut scholarships… As a student or as a former athlete, you will have to put yourselves in these young freshman’s minds…”
