taylorRaven Taylor (pictured) is facing a laundry list of traffic-related charges such as driving without insurance, failure to obey traffic signals and reckless conduct after she led Georgia state troopers on a wild chase through Atlanta streets on Monday with her 13-year-old son sitting right in the back seat, according to WSB-TV.

When the 36-year-old mom got into a fender bender and was questioned by officers, she reportedly was not able to produce a valid driver’s license or proof of insurance.  Taylor allegedly made the rash decision to jump back into her vehicle and cross five lanes of interstate traffic to try to escape state troopers, who were now in hot pursuit.

When Taylor exited onto a street, she continued to try to get away. As she arrived at an intersection, she reportedly ran through a red light, striking vehicles along the way.  The mom finally came to a stop, when she plowed into a tow truck and a few other cars.  Taylor was then handcuffed at the scene of the accident and taken into custody by state troopers.

Meanwhile, the woman’s teen son was in her vehicle all during her erratic and careless driving maneuvers.

According to Cpl. Dwayne Fabian, who spoke to WSB-TV, “I don’t know why she would run from a trooper with her 13-year-old son in the car with her, but it happens.”

Police contend there were no reported injuries involved in the case and that her son is fine.

Taylor is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday to face charges.
