Sarah Palin countered the NAACP resolution condemning Tea Party racism with her own statement.

I am saddened by the NAACP’s claim that patriotic Americans who stand up for the United States of America’s Constitutional rights are somehow “racists.” The charge that Tea Party Americans judge people by the color of their skin is false, appalling and is a regressive and diversionary tactic to change the subject at hand.

It seemed that with the election of our first black president, our country had become a new “post-racial” society. … We, as a united people, applauded that sentiment. We were proud of that progress. That’s why it is so sad to see that 18 months later, the NAACP is once again using the divisive language of the past to unfairly accuse the Tea Party movement of harboring “racist elements. …

    Makes me angry that people CHOOSE not to see the blatant contradictions this woman promulgates every time she opens her mouth.

    I saw Bill O’reilly’s show recently, and she ducked and dodged simple questions on Immigration, leading even Bill to look at her like: “You’re lucky you have breasts, you idiot.”

    Ladies and Gentlemen, Politics and lying is intertwined. A politician needs lies like we need air. His very survival depends on it. With that said, yes, Sarah is a huge liar, but is she any more or less a liar than BHO?? Can’t quantify it, therefore impossible to prove. “Wipe the floor with her?” Don’t be so sure about that Jayevans20. The McCain/Palin ticket got about 45% of the vote last time. With all the GAFFES and negative press she got nonstop from the liberal media, and the fact that McCain was old (in both literal age and political life) BHO should have “wiped the floor” with them last time. If the independents who carried BHO in 2008 become fed up with him (which they are by the day) and decide to vote OUT the Democrat, who do you think is more likely to receive the vote? Career politicians like Hucabee and Romney or this airhead? America is just stupid enough to give this airhead a shot, especially if they are convinced they can’t do any worse than what we have now, and honestly, we really can’t!
