Wyclef need to set his ass down, abide by the rules. Live there for 5 years as required, go back to school and get a degree in government, get fluent in his language and THEN run.

Wyclef is far from good political material. He comes with unclean hands from his denouncing of Aristide. His lack of neutrality taints any desire he has to lead HAit from the git-go, outside of his lack of intellectual rigor.

Ideally, its a good decision. However, they need to inject some new blood, and new ideas into their Civilization. Whatever they’re doing is NOT working. One of the Poorest countries in the world, You would think that if you live in a 3rd world country, & a rich man ( who was born in your country ) wanted to try & heal your economy…you would at least give him a chance… Oh well, good luck Haiti…

I recall ousted President Aristide was trying to improve things for the masses
but certain rich Haitians & “foreign interests” didn’t want improvement of living
for most Haitians.
Why is Jean a knuckle head? A certain nation had a z-grade actor increase debt by more
than a trillion not too long ago when he was president. What were Jeans criticisms of
Aristide about? Did Aristide not make improvements fast enough?
Oh wait he was “kidnapped”from office 2 times while President by the will of a large greedy neighbor.
