Japan —  The Japanese government is ordering residents who live within 18 miles of the Fukushima  Nuclear Power Plant to stay inside, close their windows, and not use air-conditioning.

An explosion at one crippled reactor at the plant cause Japanese officials to take action. The reactor spewed large amounts of radioactive material into the air.

Many of the workers who were responsible to help assist with this disaster, have been told to go home to prevent any sickness from this explosion.
