Chicago Bulls Center Joakim Noah was fined $50,000 dollars for using an anti-gay slur towards a fan during Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
This comes in the wake of a similar event when Kobe Bryant was fined $100,000 dollars for using an anti gay slur towards at referee Bennie Adams a couple of weeks back.
People think it’s a little odd that Kobe was fined more than Noah for what had happened. Some critics think Kobe was fined more because he has a larger paycheck then Noah, but many also think it is just circumstantial in that Noah should’ve learned from Kobe not to use a word like that because now he is suffering the consequences.
