Each year, paying for college is becoming more expensive. And in these tough economic times, many students of color are faced with a choice that will forever shape their lives.

The choice — whether to attend college, drop out or forsake school all together.

It is a choice that’s becoming increasingly prevalent across the country as Congress considers deeper cuts into federal student aid and loans. In response to this crisis, Allstate, and the Tom Joyner Foundation are uniting to assist African-American college students pay for school.

Today’s struggling economy and distressed job market make it more important than ever to secure a college education,” said Tom Joyner, Founder of The Tom Joyner Foundation.
