Jason Bryant, 26, allegedly murdered his ex-wife, Angelina Bryant, 23, and injured another woman, Trina Nwoke, 20,  before heading over to Monarch School in Gwinnett County to pick up his son from school, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Authorities had already alerted school officials that Bryant may be heading their way, and when he showed up around 3:15 p.m. — approximately four hours after fatally shooting his ex — they were ready for him.

Nwoke was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition, said DeKalb County police spokeswoman Mekka Parish:

“He was arrested … after attempting to pick up his son from school,” Parish said. “DKPD notified Gwinnett and school authorities shortly after the shooting about the possibility that he would be headed in their direction.”
