WFTV has more:

Nurses were alerted when the monitor alarm went off because of the baby losing consciousness. The staff was able to save the baby.

The report also states that when nurses entered the room, Felton said, “She’s having another episode.”

Detectives said hospital staff called police who arrived at the scene, questioned Felton and then arrested her.

Police said that Felton initially stated that she had done nothing wrong, but eventually admitted to the crime, saying she didn’t want her child to suffer, and that she was sorry.

Police said Felton faces six counts of attempted homicide.
