Famed DJ Khaled (pictured) can spin records, but he might not be able to spin out of the mess he allegedly is in with his landlord.  According to TMZ, Khaled failed to pay $55,000 in back rent for a Miami apartment he agreed to lease last September, so he is facing eviction and a lawsuit.

Court documents filed in Miami state that Khaled rented the space from Misci LLC and agreed to make bulk payments of $66,000 on the apartment.

Khaled was reportedly able to make the first down payment on the place, but according to the lawsuit, he did not make the second — even after he reportedly reworked the agreement to put $11,000 upfront, with the remainder being paid a month later.

The popular MC reportedly received a court-ordered notice to vacate the apartment within three days, after he failed to comply with the rental agreement. According to TMZ, Khaled refused to leave the premises.

Misci filed a lawsuit requesting that not only Khaled be removed from their premises but also asked for all monies owed to them from the deal gone bad and attorney fees to boot.

Khaled wears the hat of record producer, rapper, radio personality, and record label executive. He hosts the popular Miami-based urban music radio station WEDR and is the DJ for the Terror Squad hip-hop group.
