How old is Kobe Bryant? Kobe is 34 years old. Born Aug. 23, 1978 in Philadelphia, the L.A. Lakers guard has packed a lot of living into his 34 years. As a member of the U.S. Olympic team, Bryant has also earned two gold medals, and despite a handful of controversies—most notably the allegations of sexual assault that surfaced in 2003—he remains a popular player and force on the court.
