Life is imitating art for one of Law & Order‘s former directors. Jason “Jace” Alexander, who worked on the show from 1994 through 2005, was arrested Wednesday on child pornography charges. According to the Westchester County District Attorney, Alexander was charged with several felony counts of promoting sexual performance by a child after he was caught sharing files. The District Attorney’s office began investigating Alexander on July 24. When the illegal activity was linked to his IP address, his home was searched and he was arrested. “Examination of computers and external hard drives removed from the location revealed digital files of children who are less than 16 years of age engaged in child pornography,” read a press release from the DA’s office. Alexander’s bail is set at $10,000. He’s slated to appear in court on November 19. If convicted, he can face up to seven years in state prison. Read more.
