From the NY Daily News:

Tiger Woods offered a “profound apology” to his family and his fans Wednesday and admitted he had “not been true to my values” as the world’s best golfer was linked to a third reported mistress.

“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart,” Woods wrote on his Web site.

“I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves.”

Woods did not name any names, and the duffer whose name is synonymous with excellence on the grass said he was “far short of perfect” off the links.

“I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family,” he wrote in a plea for privacy.
