For the first time since he hit the campaign trail, and not coincidentally, as John McCain accepts the Republican party nod for president, Sen. Barack Obama appeared on The O’Reilly Factor. The Fox News show is one of the highest-rated cable news shows on television. Previously, when Sen. Hillary Clinton appeared on The Factor during the Democratic primaries, Mr. Obama denied the invitation in lieu of focusing on the trail. Here’s the clip of Hillary on O’Reilly.

From the Wall Street Journal:

O’Reilly will sit down with Obama Thursday in York, Pa., where he plans to question Obama on his “political career, domestic issues and foreign policy in Iran and Iraq,” according to a statement by the network, which is owned by News Corp., which also owns The Wall Street Journal.
