With the Midterm Elections upon us, race is one of the factors that many African-Americans feel have led to the voting surge amongst Republicans and Tea Partiers. Recently, Alabama State Senator Hank Sanders, who is a Democrat, created a robo-call where he says if Alabaman’s don’t vote for Ron Sparks or Jim Folsom, the “Jim Crow south will return.”
