Cedric “C.J.” Lofton was killed a day before his 18th birthday. He was suffering from a mental health crisis. He was promised by cops that he would be taken from his home to a mental health facility but he was sure he'd be taken to jail. He was sure he'd be killed. Despite his delirium, he was right on both counts.

Lawmakers investigating Greene's death voted unanimously to hold former Louisiana State Police Col. Kevin Reeves in contempt of court and fine him $5,000 for refusing to turn over a handwritten journal to investigators conducting a probe into the death of Ronald Greene.

41-year-old Black woman Diane Craig was found unconscious on a bus in Phoenix, Arizona. She had been strangled, and she died from her injuries after being rushed to the hospital. Since then, Phoenix police have been on the lookout for one man, 26-year-old  Joshua Bagley.

“Acoli must be released because the statutory standards for granting parole have been met, without regard to extraneous factors like sympathy or passion or public opinion," read the court's decision.

Delaware State University's women’s lacrosse team was pulled over while returning from Florida last month by cops who had no probable cause and no reason to suspect the team had done anything wrong outside of the fact that most of the team members are Black, according to the team's head coach, Pamella Jenkins.

Gov. Greg Abbott said during an appearance on the Joe Pags show that Texas might consider challenging a 1982 U.S. Supreme Court decision requiring states to offer free public education to all children. Apparently, he's against the law because "all children" includes illegal immigrant children.
