The 'Black Panther' franchise recently lost another prominent cast member following reports that 95-year-old "Merchant Tribe Elder" actress Dorothy Steel has passed away.

Following the renaming of its College Of Fine Arts center after late 'Black Panther' actor Chadwick Boseman, Howard University went further in honoring the school's late alumnus by establishing a multimillion-dollar scholarship in his name with help from streaming giant Netflix.

Chadwick Boseman's death reinforces an unfortunate truth: Black people are disproportionately diagnosed with colon cancer in a trend that has heightened implications for Black men, in particular.
