Trump's reportedly intended to bring attention during the debate to Alice Johnson, a Black woman to whom he granted clemency, to force Biden to apologize to her for the 1994 Crime Bill. Instead, Trump resorted to racism.

Trump commuted the sentence Wednesday of Alice Marie Johnson, an African-American grandmother who had already served 21 years of a life sentence on a first-time nonviolent drug offense. 

Kim Kardashian met with Trump last week about Johnson and prison reform.

'Tis the season for plotting presidential pardons, apparently. There’s just one problem: Most of the potential candidates aren't pardon-worthy.

Kim Kardashian has been advocating to free Alice Marie Johnson, who has been in prison for over 20 years for a drug charge. However, her advocacy went a bit too far when she was called on by the White House to meet with Jared Kushner to discuss prison reform. Twitter was not happy.  

Alice Marie Johnson is a 62-year-old great grandmother who has been in jail for over 20 years.
