A reading of a Dr. Seuss book at an elementary school in Ohio ended when a student pointed out the book was, in part, an allegory to racism.
Dr. Seuss Enterprises is releasing a new series of books that will include never before seen Dr. Seuss characters accompanied by stories written and illustrated by a diverse group of talented authors and artists with different racial backgrounds.
A handful of Dr. Seuss books will no longer be published due to the racist and insensitive imagery targeting Black and Asian communities, which stirred up "cancel culture" critique from conservatives on social media.
