Donald Trump announced that football Hall of Famer Herschel Walker will run as a Republican for U.S. Senate in Georgia and challenge recently elected Sen. Raphael Warnock.
"Uncle Tom" was one of the top trending topics on Twitter following the opening night of the Republican National Convention that featured several Black men making the case for Donald Trump to be re-elected.
Some of those backers include former NFL player Herschel Walker; former star of The Apprentice, Omarosa Manigault, and former NBA player Dennis Rodman.
