The Black Ballot – Episode 20: The Season Finale of America?
The Washington Monthly took the time to compare and contrast the Biden and Trump Presidencies. In this final episode of The Black Ballot we take the viewer through the accomplishments and failures of each administration through these facts and through their own words in the 2020 debates. Trump, once again, expressed the possiblity of not accepting the election results if he were to lose and he was true to this promise when Joe Biden was declared the winner. January 6th would be the worst attack on our democracy in modern history. Trump supporters stormed the capitol and were vocal about what they really meant when they said “Take OUR America back.” Is history repeating itself? The candiates are very clear on who they are. Even if you don’t believe in the current system not participating is not an option and as many of our guest say this is all about harm reduction. Our democracy is on the line and voting is a right we shouldnt take for granted.
