The Obama Administration responded to the spoiled tantrum of failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney by simply saying that his “gifts” statement was “at odds with the truth,” reports Politico.com.

As previously reported by NewsOne, Romney insisted to his puppeteers –also known as top donors — that the only reason President Barack Obama won re-election is by promising “gifts” to Black, Hispanic and young voters. Speaking aboard Air Force One, White House press secretary Jay Carney insists that Romney’s version of reality is not what happened last week:

“Let me just say that I think that view of the American people, of the electorate and of the election is at odds with the truth of what happened last week,” Carney said.  “… making it easier for Americans to go to college, that’s good for America, and allowing young people to stay on their parents health insurance longer so they aren’t bankrupted in their 20s by illness, is good for the economy and it’s good for all of us.

“The president pursues policies that have at their core a desire to build the middle class, strengthen the middle class, make the middle class more secure, because that’s what makes America more secure,” he said. “So it’s just not the view we take about the decision the American people made last week.”

Though Mittens often has recurring bouts of Romnesia, at this point it’s clear that his meltdown is more an issue of denial, revisionism and self-entitlement than memory lapse. It is also an authentic glimpse at the core of a man who expects the world to give him “gifts” just for being rich, White and male.

President Obama would be better served throwing Romney and the neo-secessionists all in one large box labeled: Waste Of My Time.

If he does that, sooner or later they will get the message that they’re not important enough to distract from the serious business of running the country.
