Twerking has just hit the gridiron.
Well, at least in the Legends (formerly Lingerie) Football League.
During a game between the L.A. Temptation and the Seattle Mist Tuesday, the “Mist have the ball on a first-quarter drive. On second, Riki Creger-Zier pulls in hitch pass and takes it five yards for a first down before being pulled down by LA’s Ogom Chijindu,” according to Fox Sports.
After the tackle, Chijindu dropped down and started twerking on Creger-Zier’s head. The showboating play was a highlight in itself.

Though as the New York Daily News points out, the play was asinine given that “Chijindu’s first-quarter tackle wasn’t even for a loss — Creger-Zier went for a first-down on the five-yard grab. Regardless, Chijindu was so impressed with herself that she felt compelled to squat down and rub her rump on the back of Creger-Zier’s helmet. She then sprinted out to midfield and saluted the crowd at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif.”
While the play was indeed entertaining, The Mist came away with a 24-20 victory. But that didn’t stop Chijindu from taking to Twitter and having fun about the episode with her 34,294 followers.
