Barack Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton

Over the weekend, New York Senator Chuck Schumer publicly endorsed Hillary Clinton as the Democrat’s top pick for the 2016 presidential race. The former Secretary of State has yet to confirm if she will in fact run for president, and potentially succeed her former opponent in the 2004 election, President Barack Obama.

Senator Schumer threw his early support at a Democratic party fundraiser in Des Moines, Iowa:
“I am urging Hillary Clinton to run for President, and when she does, she will have my full and unwavering support.”

Vote in our poll below, and tune in to “NewsOne Now” with Roland Martin, weekdays at 7am ET.

Do you think Hillary Clinton is the best choice for 2016?
