La Toya Jackson (pictured) has finally tied the knot, marrying forever friend and business partner Jeffre Phillips (pictured) on Friday at an intimate ceremony with just a handful of friends and family, according to US Weekly.
Phillips, who co-stars on Jackson’s OWN network reality series hit “Life With Toya,” has been by her side for years making business decisions for her and investing her money in reportedly savvy financial undertakings. The 57-year-old performer considers Phillips to be her right-hand man and the pair have reportedly been inseparable.
On Jackson’s show, she was seen trying her hand out on dating but without much gusto. At the time, Jackson expressed how terrified she was of getting in to a relationship with any man because of her failed seven-year marriage to late-first husband Jack Gordon, whom she claims, tortured her physically and emotionally throughout their union.
And all the while, Phillips was seen standing by Jackson and helping her to decide on a possible paramour. Toward the end, though, he alerted viewers to his own love interest in the performer.
Reportedly, Jackson and Phillips had been secretly involved with each other for quite some time — even during her televised “dates,” with many feeling the trysts were staged for ratings’ sake.
Phillips popped the question to his lady-love during the filming of her reality show. Jackson matriarch Katherine and nephew Prince were reportedly present when the pair said, “I do.”

Jackson and Phillips share a special bond and it is evident on her show. Phillips appears to be her shoulder, shield and attack dog when anyone tries to hurt Jackson in any way.
Last August when Jackson was interviewed by US Magazine , she adoringly said of her partner in crime, “I have a best friend by the name of Jeffre Phillips who I simply adore. He is a wonderful person. We click very well, and we are best friends. We think alike, which is great.”
