Media airwaves have bulled up on the topic of McCain’s VP and incumbent Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin’s 17 year old daughter being pregnant. Critics are also saying her return to work 4 days after the birth of her infant son with Down Syndrome was too sudden. How does she address his needs?

Governor Palin has requested the media to “respect her daughter and her boyfriend’s privacy”. McCain advisors have stated that they were aware of the pregnancy and felt it was not a factor in choosing her to be his running mate.

Senator Barack Obama has issued a statement stating, “I think people’s families are off-limits, and people’s children are especially off-limits. This shouldn’t be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Governor Palin’s performance as a governor, or her potential performance as a vice-president.”

So, the bottom line is, we have a Republican female Governor from Alaska (which is near Canada and no other US States), who has 5 children, one child with Down Syndrome, and soon to be a grandmother who is ready to serve our country in the capacity of Vice President? Does this matter?

You do the math..
