Mayor of Baltimore City Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has proclaimed October 26, 2010 “Cathy Hughes Day” in Baltimore City.

Mayor Blake called into WOLB 1010AM’s Larry Young Morning Show this morning to declare the official proclamation. The Mayor said that Hughes’ continued success over the years throughout 53 radio stations nationwide in 16 urban markets has provided growth within the African-American community.
