Investigators say one of the suspects swiped an iPhone from the elderly victim while he was standing on the platform. The octogenarian chased the thief, but the second suspect intervened and pushed the man off the subway platform and onto the trackbed.

The victim, who wasn’t immediately identified was helped back onto the platform by witnesses. He was reportedly transported to Woodhull Hospital in stable condition.
