When Kourtney and Kim Kardashian got comfortable on David Letterman’s couch to discuss the new season Kim and Kourtney Take Miami, Letterman didn’t hesitate in the slightest to ask Kim, who is pregnant with her first child with Hip-Hop mega-producer — and artist — Kanye West, the million-dollar question:
“Aren’t you still married?”
When the television personality answered with a hesitant, “Yes,” Letterman still didn’t give her break:
“When are you going to wrap that up?” he asked to loud laughter from his audience.
“Well, I’ve been trying, and it’s a process,” Kim explained to the “Late Show” host.
She continued that her husband, Brooklyn Nets’ Kris Humphries, was trying to sue her for an annulment, claiming that she only married him for ratings and publicity.
While clearly Dave wanted to continue having fun at Kim’s expense, big sister Kourtney came to the rescue:
“But I think if she was going to do it for publicity, she’d pick someone that people knew.”
And it’s Kourtney for the win!

As previously reported by NewsOne, during his Atlantic City concert in December, West announced that Kim was pregnant with their first child:
“Stop the music, stop the music… can we make some noise for my baby mama right quick?“

The problem that attorneys, who are not affiliated with this case, foresee is that in the state of California, the husband is legally considered to be the father of a child conceived in a marriage.
Note to young girls everywhere: Get divorced from your (second) husband before getting pregnant by your boyfriend. It’s only right.
Here’s to hoping that everything works out for Kimye!
