uring a contentious press conference on Wednesday, Donald Trump finally agreed that Russia was behind the Democratic hacks, but disputed new reports that the Kremlin has incriminating information about him.

The dossier about the President-elect’s alleged connections to Russia has renewed calls for the release of his tax returns.

On Thursday morning, Terrell J. Starr, an expert on Russian affairs and senior reporter for Foxtrot Alpha, told NewsOne Now, “A lot of this stuff could easily be solved if President-elect Donald Trump [would] release his tax returns.”

Starr later said Trump should “show us your tax returns, show us where your connections are in Russia so we can investigate that––so we can remove all doubt.”

During his presidential campaign, Trump refused to release his returns. Starr said, “In my mind, he’s hiding something. We can’t exactly prove the connections.”
