A Facebook group page that is called “DEAR LORD, THIS YEAR YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE ACTOR, PATRICK SWAYZIE. YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE ACTRESS, FARAH FAWCETT. YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE SINGER, MICHAEL JACKSON. I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW, MY FAVORITE PRESIDENT IS BARACK OBAMA. AMEN” has recently surpassed one million members. The group took the name from the New Jersey Education Association, which said the same thing about New Jersey governor, Chris Christie. You can check out the page here.
It seems as if several of the “fans” of the page are actually people trying to combat the hatred against Obama. One man posted several gay pictures and others left derogatory comments for the Republican party.
