On Revolt’s “State of the Culture,” Remy Ma, Joe Budden, Scottie Beam and Jinx got into a passionate discussion about Bill Cosby, who was recently sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison for aggravated incident sexual assault for drugging and raping Andrea Constand in 2004. Remy Ma made some comments about Cosby, which has social media shaking their head at the Bronx rapper.
Remy argued that he is 82 years old (he is 81) and a “younger Bill Cosby was very woke,” which made Scottie Beam say, “Just because you woke doesn’t mean you don’t rape.”
Remy also claimed he looked like he didn’t know what was happening in the court room and she is defending people who have “been done wrong by the system.” Bill Cosby may not be the best example of someone who was wronged by the system. See a clip below:
Clearly, Remy is not aware of Cosby’s history — he was not “woke.” In his famous “Pound Cake “speech in 2004, he said, “With names like Shaniqua, Shaligua, Mohammed and all that crap and all of them are in jail.” Also, “Are you not paying attention, people with their hat on backwards, pants down around the crack? Isn’t that a sign of something, or are you waiting for Jesus to pull his pants up? Isn’t it a sign of something when she’s got her dress all the way up to the crack…and got all kinds of needles and things going through her body? What part of Africa did this come from?”
Remy Ma was slammed on social media. See the tweets below.
