I’m facing two battles before me – my diagnosis and the fight for voting rights. I am convinced that they can both be fought with the same weapon: the power of community.

Ahead of the 2022 midterm election, the organization hopes to capture a representative snapshot of the values, opinions and issues facing Black communities.  

We want legislation that upends harmful systems and replaces them with programs and policies that go beyond remedying individual harms and provide true safety and well-being for our communities.
