The “good guy with a gun” is a myth perpetuated by the NRA to appease a base that doesn’t care about Black people. Emantic “EJ” Fitzgerald Bradford, Jr. and Jemel Roberson are heroes, period.

The 26-year-old security guard was shot by a white police officer.

Attorney Lee Merritt blasted the white officer who killed Jemel Roberson.

Witnesses said they yelled to the officer that Roberson was a security guard.

"We still don’t know his name. They’re trying to keep that from us," said a protester.
