Acknowledging the disruption of organizing and information distribution, the Disinfo Defense League's policy platform consists of nine key points. Calls to action in the newly released platform included banning discriminatory algorithms, enhancing data transparency, protecting whistleblowers, and expanding Federal Trade Commission oversight.Â
It is not just intimidation at the polls or election administrators removing voters from the rolls that count toward limiting the franchise. It is also the combination of displacement following natural disasters and election officials refusing to accommodate impacted voters.
Celebrated last November for saving Democracy, Black organizers and the voters they mobilized will not rest until federal voting rights legislation is passed.
