This week's Fayetteville, North Carolina road rage killing of Stephen Addison, a Black man, could result in hate crime charges against suspected white supremacist Roger Dale Nobles, who has in the past been accused of using racial slurs.

Anthony Trifiletti, the white man who killed Douglas Lewis, a Black driver, in an apparent fit of racist road rage could eventually find himself a free man if legal history in Minnesota is any indication of the future.

Suspected racist Anthony J. Trifiletti was charged with murder for shooting and killing Douglas C. Lewis after both men’s cars were in what’s being described as a “minor collision” in St. Paul, Minnesota.

While statistics about racist road rage incidents are not officially documented, the disturbing trend seems to be gaining momentum.
