strike
Tensions ran high at Howard University Hospital as approximately 300 nurses and medical personnel went on strike in the latest protest demanding more from the prominent HBCU.
The Teaching Faculty Union at Howard University announced on Twitter that a tentative agreement between the union and the university has been reached on the day a labor strike was scheduled to begin.
During a demonstration that saw multiple Howard University professors in attendance along with students, some faculty members threatened to execute a strike if certain working conditions are not addressed.
The Milwaukee Bucks are the first to demonstrate their protest by not playing a game.
