Ron Paul Tea Party DebateSpectators cheered the prospect of  letting uninsured Americans die during Monday’s CNN Tea Party debate.

“That’s what’s freedom is all about,” Republican presidential nominee Ron Paul said when CNN’s Wolf Blizter asked who should pay when uninsured Americans encounter catastrophic illness.

“He should do whatever he wants to do,” Paul said. My advice to him is have a major medical policy.”

As Blizter continued his line of questions asking, “So congressman are you saying society should just let him die?,” members of the audience can be heard cheering “yeah,” as if they approved.
