In today’s “Conservatives Are Losing Their Minds Because Obama Won News,” NewsOne brings you the story of Cope Reynolds. The Pinetop, Arizona gunshop owner has taken out an ad in a local newspaper and posted a sign on the door of Southwest Shooting Authority letting it be known that people who voted for President Barack Obama are no longer welcome in his establishment, reports Talking Points Memo.

The ad placed in the White Mountain Independent reads as follows:

“If you voted for Barack Obama your business is not welcome at Southwest Shooting Authority. You have proven that you are not responsible enough to own a firearm.”

Reynolds explained in a letter to AmmoLand.com that he wasn’t motivated by profit, but old-fashioned “values”:

To Whom it May Concern:

I thought you all might be interested in this.

We will try to demonstrate once again that the bottom line for our business is principle, not money.

Yes, it has been damaging at times but our values are intact.

Effective immediately, if you voted for Obama, your money is no good here. You have proven beyond a doubt that you are not responsible enough to own a firearm. We have just put a sign up on the front door to save you the trouble of walking all the way in here…

I took this ad out in our local paper. It will come out in the White Mountain Independent tomorrow, 9 November

Sincerely,

Cope Reynolds

Reynolds joins a list that includes secessionists, Holly Solomon, also from the great state of Arizona, who ran over her husband for not voting for Mitt Romney, teen billionaire Peter Brant II who ‘joked’ about killing President Obama on Twitter for making him “poor,” rioting students at Ole Miss, and Florida resident Henry Hamilton, who commited suicide because he couldn’t stand the thought of Barack Obama being President of the United States.

Reynolds has also voiced his support of Arizona’s neo-secessionist movement on Twitter, telling his followers to know the law when it comes to carrying unconcealed weapons.

Why, in case there’s a Civil War?

This has gone way beyond ridiculous.

Hopefully people will calm down as President Obama’s second term gets under way; if not, we’re in for quite an interesting 4 years.
