Authorities said they’ve taken a suspect into custody for a shooting spree in Washington, D.C. that killed at least three people, the Washington Post reports.

According to CNN, the police believe 62-year-old Eulalio Tordil killed three people and wounded three others.

Tordil is suspected of fatally shooting a man on Friday outside the Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, Md. He’s believed to have also shot and injured two other people at that location. Also on Friday, a woman was shot and killed at a grocery store in the same area, CNN reports.

Authorities believe the suspect is also responsible for a third fatal shooting on Thursday. That victim is Tordil’s estranged wife, 44-year-old Gladys Tordil. She was shot multiple times at a Beltsville, Md. high school, while waiting in a car to pick up her children, according to the network.

Tordil, a law enforcement officer with the Federal Protective Service, had his gun and badge removed and was placed on administrative leave after receiving a protective order.
