RIP MJ, the memorial service was amazing, it was so sad, but just showed what a great person he was even if the media painted him to be something different! RIP MJ, you will be truly missed!

I hope now he can finally rest in peace.

I cried-ALOT. Thank you for walking this earth, and doing what you do best. I know you are gonna keep on shining while shaking things up.

I have never had a reaction like this. He had a bigger impact on my childhood than I thought, So many memories of when I was 4 years old listening to Billy Jean with my dad and the pepsi comercials, seein kids at school with the zipper jackets I always wanted but they were too expensive. He was the very definition of cool, To see that mic lit up where he would have been standing had such a big impact on me I still am having a hard time excepting it. RIP Michael Jackson my childhood hero ! my Moms not selling your record on ebay either.

This was one of the most beautiful memorial services I have even seen. Thank you to the Jackson Family for allowing the world to see Michael sent off in grand style…

Michael Jackson may you rest in peace, I pray that God in his love and mercy grant the family the perfect peace that Jesus the son gave to us. Gone too soon is what I felt upon hearing the devastating news, for a while everything around me came to a stand still, just couldn’t believe what I was hearing or seeing. I lost total control, it felt like I losing someone who has been apart of my life, and today looking at the Memorial makes it even more real. I often dream of the day that I will meet him. The world has lost a great, loving, caring person. Michael brought life and meaning to this world. Gone but will live forever, through his amazing work.

What a hard thing for a family to go through…to publicly bury a loved one. I really hope the Jackson family can find the answers they are looking for about his death.

mike was the man and finally is resting in paradise… the music, the moves… he was an innovator for a lot of these so called acts these days… whether u loved or hated mike he had an impact on every person in the WORLD there will never be a global icon like mike.. not weezy not kanye or jay z.. none of them

I cried so hard my nose ran, and my best friend left, it’s a shame, I only hope and pray Micheal was shown this much love, when he was alive, as he was shown today..Why did it take this for people to realize how special to us all he was? I know he felt the love being sent out to him today, and he is pleased. I was a little thrown off at Latoya when Paris was trying to talk about her father, Latoya kept pushing the mic further into the little girls face…but what she said broke my heart. I know he was the best dad to those kids, we all feel like we’ve lost something priceless, imagine how his kids feel. God is in control. When we can’t understand, it’s because we are not ment to. God Bless Michael and his family….

It’s really unfortunate that Mike had to die, so he could finally have peace. I felt like I lost a close family member. The cat bought the music catalogs of black artists who didn’t have ownership, so they could have them. That was a real, heartfelt tribute today. You’ll never see another Mike, but his music will always be forever timeless! Long live the king of pop!

Man…like so man other folx I dont think I truly believed he was dead until I saw the solid gold casket with the dozens & dozens of roses resting on top. That’s when it really HIT me like two tons of bricks that he is gone. Me and my man we’re discussing that Michael unlike Pac, Biggie, Bernie, Levert, Aaliyah, Left-eye..his death is taken so personal by so many of us becuz we grew up to him from a toddler all the way up until now, mimicking his moves and trying to sing in his high pitched voice…the other celebs we’re cool but we just met them along the way, we weren’t as familiar with them as we were the king. That’s what makes his death soo prevalent to me. Losing this rare commodity makes you stop and think that no one, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE is invincible or gonna live forever even though we believed that Mike would…may God keep him in perfect peace (finally). I at first didn’t wanna believe it but when I saw the fam drivin to the cemetary and saw them bringin in the casket to the memorial event it hit me like a hammer I couldn’t stop crying anymore. He definitley lives on forever in our hearts!!! I had a lot of great moments with his music and may he finally R.I.P!!! Much luv from germany!!!

In my humble opinion…
Michael’s legacy will not be defined by the press, who choose to make you or break you at the stroke of a pen. The lawsuits that maybe true or untrue in their allegations, his critics, his supporters or even his music. They all took backstage at his memorial service because of the small voice of his daughter.
Leave it up to the innocence of a child’s words and emotions to put the surreal feeling of the moment, and definition of his life, in it’s true perspective.
The love and respect of your children is what all men should aspire to gain….cause in the end… that’s all that really matters.

Embrace fatherhood… nuff said.
