It’s interesting to see how some react to this particular story. Personally, I don’t think it’s that big of a deal, granted, I don’t have the facts that pertain to her age. The simple fact of the matter is that no one but her knows her age and even then… it’s a matter of trusting one’s word. Don’t get me wrong… I’d be inclined to believe her simply because birth records of slaves and descendants of slaves are all but non-existent because of their classification as property and the fact that the constitutional amendments did not become instituted until much later. Regardless, on ot the actual case… the conclusion is that they do not have an accurate record of her birth and therefore cannot validate her age as she claims.

@lisa – It’s funny that you claim that overall Black people are the most unhappy when statistically speaking, surveys have found that Blacks are the happiest among the U.S. society. As per Guinness and their ability to make some foam at the mouth… it’s only those that feel it’s necessary to defend themselves when attacked for one reason or another.
