The queen of hot topics, Wendy Williams, is now headline news. Her talk show has been postponed for weeks and now a new report comes out that her staff doesn’t even want her to return.

A “close source” told Radar Online, “It has been like a vacation having guest hosts. Everyone is laughing and smiling and working together. We all had gotten so used to walking on eggshells around Wendy and Kevin, we forgot what a fun work environment was.” Kevin Hunter is Wendy’s husband and has been accused of getting another woman pregnant.

The source continued, “At first the staff was worried about losing their jobs. Now it looks like the show can survive without Wendy, and a lot of people don’t want her to return… There was so many unwritten rules with working with Wendy. You couldn’t contact her directly. Only certain staff members could talk with her.”

The source also dished on Kevin Hunter,  “No one was allowed to disagree with him. It was a nightmare work environment. You never knew what mood Wendy or Kevin were going to be in.” Since postponing her show, a revolving door of hosts have included Don Lemon, Nick Cannon, Rickey Smiley and, most recently, Sherri Shepherd.

Over the past few months, Wendy reportedly injured her arm, been having ongoing thyroid issues and there are allegations that a divorce was on the horizon.

The 54-year-old was spotted at a Florida CVS with a friend on last week, according to Us Weekly. See the image below:

Back in December, Love B. Scott exclusively reported that although the chat fest was renewed through 2020, the future of the show beyond that season was allegedly uncertain. There are “concerns over Wendy’s health are clouding chances for any further renewal.”

In addition, the site said it received a cease and desist letter from Wendy’s lawyers, asking to remove the story that her husband had another woman pregnant and she was filing for divorce. The letter stated, “Mrs. Wendy Williams-Hunter and Mr. Kevin Hunter categorically deny each and every allegation made by your ‘sources’, even if not specifically enumerated herein.”

The letter was a bizarre twist considering the daytime TV diva has made a career out of talking about other people.

Love B. Scott also claims she is struggling with self-medicating herself. Radar Online claims Wendy can “barely stand at times” and her friends say there’s a “major problem.” Wendy did say to her fans that on Instagram, “I did that to power through and try to deliver a great show for you, against the better judgment of the many people around me who genuinely care for my well-being. I really do ride or die for my craft and give 200%.”

She added, “Not to mention everyone is aware at this point about my thyroid condition (don’t cry for me Argentina). For all my fellow thyroid sufferers, you know what the deal is… Needless to say… I have no regrets and I appreciate everyone’s genuine concern for my wellness and care. I promise you a better Wendy in 2019.”

There is no word on when Wendy will return to the show.
