Wendy Williams has been a hot topic for nearly 2 months but she has not been on air to clear up the rumors. Allegedly, after reports that she may not be back on air, the talk show host is supposed to return to the purple coach on Monday, March 4. There is still tons of speculation about her marriage and now is it being alleged she dropped “Hunter” from her name. Her husband’s name is Kevin Hunter.

Radar Online claims, “The show host, who has always referred to herself as ‘Wendy Williams-Hunter’ in both digital communications and in public/on-air, has officially dumped the name and now goes strictly by her maiden name ‘Wendy Williams.'”
Allegedly, Wendy’s husband has had a longtime mistress whom he bought a home for just down the street from them years ago. Now, the woman is reportedly pregnant Love B. Scott exclusively reported in December, “She’s allegedly pregnant and still living just down the street from their house. Word around the show is that they’re going to divorce sometime now that little Kevin has gone (sic) college.”
Love B. Scott received a cease and desist letter from Wendy’s lawyers, asking to remove the story that her husband had another woman pregnant and she was filing for divorce. The letter stated, “Mrs. Wendy Williams-Hunter and Mr. Kevin Hunter categorically deny each and every allegation made by your ‘sources’, even if not specifically enumerated herein.”
The letter was a bizarre twist considering the daytime TV diva has made a career out of talking about other people.
Love B. Scott also claims she is struggling with self-medicating herself. Radar Online claims Wendy can “barely stand at times” and her friends say there’s a “major problem.” Wendy did say to her fans that on Instagram, “I did that to power through and try to deliver a great show for you, against the better judgment of the many people around me who genuinely care for my well-being. I really do ride or die for my craft and give 200%.”
The talk show has been in limbo for weeks. There have been a series of guest hosts, which have included Don Lemon, Nick Cannon, Rickey Smiley and, most recently, Sherri Shepherd. See the statement below of Wendy returning on March 4:
