What happens when outsiders to the HBCU community try to impact Black college culture? The answer may not be as straightforward as you think.

Two students on a school bus in a Mississippi town were kicked off the bus for saying, “Obama is our President.” The students were left at the Pearl High School and later taken to Pearl Junior High where they attend school.
Parents in the town are outraged and school adminstration officials have taken action against the bus driver, but it is unclear what the disciplinary action actually is.
