Jimmy Kimmel wasn’t sure of the best way to start off Black History Month. So he decided to hit the streets and ask white people who their favorite black person is, according to reporting by Clutch Magazine.

The responses were a mix of incredibly funny and, shall we say, disturbing insights into how out of it many white people are about black Americans. To give you a teaser, when a white couple was asked, “Who is your favorite black person,” the woman replied “We’ll that would require me to know a few personally. I know one at work. His name is Ray Ray.”
Oh, yes. She did say that.
